Photography By Kieron Nolan

Kieron Nolan is based in Belair, and has had the opportunity to photograph weddings in some fantastic locations across South Australia. Couples love the way he makes them feel relaxed while still able to take great shots. He works hard all day, ensuring all aspects are captured, from the bride being made up and fussed over in the morning to the speeches and first dance, meaning all the 'real' moments are photographed.

The materials he uses are of extremely high class, from large lay-flat albums to using a professional craftsman to frame prints – meaning you get something special that will look good for years to come. Managing large groups of people is no problem, meaning beautiful formal shots can be arranged with minimal fuss, especially helpful when many of your guests are older relatives or children!

Then when it comes time for more intimate shots, he really does capture who you are. If you want elegant poses, he will capture them. If you want to climb up a tree, he'll give you a hand up! And if you just want a break before the reception, he understands when it's time to step back and let you simply enjoy your day.

The Grand Ballroom Open Day!

Over the last 13 years, Donato and Mimi De Ieso, a husband and wife team along with their wonderful and experienced staff have been catering weddings and all other types of events as Mediterranean Excellence mobile caterers.

They are delighted to advise that Mediterranean Excellence has recently taken over the management of the Tropeano Reception Centre, renaming it The Grand Ballroom. They have a new name, new plans for redecorating and a passion for delivering all of your function needs from 120 – 500 guests. The Grand Ballroom can cater for weddings, engagements, corporate events, seminars, concerts, christenings, 21st birthdays and lots more.

The Grand Ballroom invites you to attend the inaugural open day on September 18 2011 to sample the food, visit the venue and perhaps make a booking for an up and coming wedding or any other function.

Starting at 12.30 pm, for just $45 per person, dine as if you are an actual guest at a loved one’s wedding experiencing a three course meal prepared as it is for any of the wedding functions. Hosting a tasting or sample menu of the food they serve is not a realistic experience and does not tell the full story, so The Grand Ballroom are inviting everyone to share a meal and let the food speak for itself.

Any functions booked on the open day will see the $45 fee credited off the account of the person who makes the booking as well as a 5% - 10% discount on the overall function price. For open day bookings please call The Grand Ballroom on 8235 0688 or 0411 532 887.

In addition to a fabulous menu, The Grand Ballroom will be showcasing table centre-pieces, from floral arrangements to crystal candelabras, chair covers and sashes, wedding car options and photographer who can meet all your function needs.
